About

About Meeting Point.

At Meeting Point Therapy, the focus is on meeting you exactly where you are.

The practice

Therapy rooted in a compassionate, client-centered approach that supports individuals navigating life’s challenges.

Maybe that means managing stress, working through trauma, or addressing the complexities of substance use. Either way, we’ll help you forge a path forward.

Therapy is shaped by more than a decade of experience working with people from different backgrounds and life circumstances. Using a harm reduction and trauma-informed lens, therapy offers a space where you can feel safe, heard, and respected.

Support is available for individuals impacted by substance use, whether personally or through a loved one. Therapy also addresses concerns such as anxiety, depression, grief, and major life transitions. The goal is to help you build resilience, strengthen coping strategies, and move toward a life that feels less like surviving and more like actually enjoying your life.

We’re in-network with Independence Blue Cross (IBX) and offer therapy for individuals in Philadelphia and across Pennsylvania and New Jersey via telehealth.

How this work is done

The approach

Harm reduction

Support is available across the full spectrum of substance use, whether that means safer use, reducing use, or working toward abstinence. There is no judgment about where someone begins.

Trauma-informed

Using a trauma-informed lens, therapy offers a space where you can feel safe, heard, and respected — paced with safety in mind, without pressure to disclose before you feel ready.

Collaborative

There is no single “right” path forward and our work is always collaborative. Your goals, values, and pace guide the process.

Mind and body

When helpful, therapy can incorporate mindfulness and body-based practices to support grounding, emotional regulation, and a deeper connection between mind and body.

If you’re considering therapy, you don’t have to have everything figured out. You just have to start where you are.
